Deputy Nursery Manager – London

We are currently seeking an experienced, passionate Deputy Nursery Manager to support operations at a modern, high-quality day nursery in London. Key Responsibilities of the Deputy Nursery Manager

Working alongside the Nursery Manager, you will oversee the daily running of the nursery, manage room leaders and practitioners, and maintain outstanding Ofsted compliance standards. You will ensure the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum is delivered creatively, manage safeguarding protocols, and build strong relationships with parents and families. In the manager’s absence, you will assume full operational responsibility.

Requirements and Qualifications

Our client is looking for a dedicated leader who meets the following criteria:

• Childcare Qualifications: Minimum Level 3 childcare qualification (Level 4/5 or Early Years degree is highly desirable).
• Leadership Experience: Proven experience working as a Room Leader or Deputy Manager in an Ofsted-registered setting.
• EYFS Expertise: Thorough understanding of Ofsted inspection frameworks, safeguarding children, and child development tracking.
• First Aid: Active pediatric first aid (PFA) certification.
• Vetting: A clear Enhanced DBS check registered on the Update Service is required.

Salary, Hours, and Career Benefits
